Adding to destination venues including London Designer Outlet, The SSE Arena, Wembley and Boxpark Wembley, this summer the brand-new Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre will open. Along with outdoor seating and meeting spots, leafy boulevards, public art and site-wide free entertainment, Wembley Park has established itself as North West London’s new destination to live, work, shop and play.

Wembley Park: Summer on Screen

Sports

It is no longer just on match days that Wembley Park is a shrine for sports fans, with legendary fanzones at Boxpark, and cricket, Wimbledon and the Tour de France on the big screen. Wimbledon Rematch 1980: An Immersive Experience premieres at Wembley Park this June. This unique extravaganza mixing live action, incredible archive from the stars of Centre Court, and of course the food, drink and music from the era will transport fans back in time.

Live at Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena, Wembley

With music taking centre stage at Wembley Stadium, this summer is set to be a scorcher with K-Pop sensation BTS, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi and Pink all performing at the stadium.

London’s most intimate arena, The SSE Arena, Wembley, celebrates its 60th Anniversary of live music and entertainment. The iconic venue will also be hosting a range of concerts this summer from world-renowned artists such as Janelle Monae, Tenacious D and Carrie Underwood.

Wembley Park hosts International Busking Day

For the second year, Wembley Park will host International Busking Day, on July 20. The free family-friendly daylong celebration of busking and street performance - supported by the Mayor of London - features performances by international and home-grown busking talent. The event marks the culmination of a summer-long programme of Buskers in Residence programme, featuring the best buskers on the circuit, who will animate Wembley Park’s leafy boulevards every weekend from June to September.

All about music

Building on the legendary musical reputation of the area, Wembley Park is transforming itself into the ultimate pre-gig destination this summer. A series of music-themed public realm art commissions by Baker&Borowski, the duo behind Produce UK and Skip Gallery, will pop up down Olympic Way, presenting the perfect backdrop for pre-gig selfies for fans. On the big screen, artist music video highlights will make Arena Square the sing-a-long place to be for fans of Bon Jovi, Pink, Fleetwood Mac and more. Meanwhile during the sell-out Spice Girls run, site-wide entertainment includes a free screening of Spice World, Boxpark ‘fanpark’, themed drinks and entertainment, competitions, photo opportunities, and the arrival of the original Spice Bus.

Eating out at Boxpark Wembley

At Boxpark Wembley, alongside 20 street food vendors, three bars, visitors can enjoy events including Hip hop Karaoke, ComedyMania hosted and curated by BBC Radio presenter Aurie Styla and ticketed screenings of the best sporting events of the summer from the Champions League Final to the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Fun for all the family

For children and families, the brand-new Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre will be showing its first show, Dinosaur World Live, from July 18. The new flexible 1,000-2,000 seat capacity theatre has been created inside the former Fountain Studios, the famed former home of X-Factor.
