Union Park showcases Quintain’s sustainable vision, creating seven acres of biodiverse public space that strengthens community wellbeing and environmental resilience.
Union Park is a flagship expression of our commitment to sustainable, people‑centred regeneration at Wembley Park. As the first new park in the area in 130 years, the seven‑acre space has been designed to enhance wellbeing, strengthen environmental resilience and provide an accessible green refuge for everyone who lives in or visits the neighbourhood.
Union Park sits at the heart of our long‑term vision for Wembley Park, where more than half of the neighbourhood will ultimately be dedicated to blue and green spaces. By prioritising natural landscapes within a high‑density urban setting, we are creating a sustainable, future‑ready district shaped around quality of life and access to nature.
Since 2005, we have planted 1,130 trees across the wider development, including 736 in public areas such as Union Park. These contribute to cleaner air, shade provision and wildlife habitat creation. Our Urban Green Factor score of 0.42 exceeds residential benchmarks, reinforcing our focus on Biodiversity Net Gain and long‑term environmental performance.
Union Park is designed to encourage movement, social interaction and outdoor activity. Events such as the Family Cycling Celebration—attended by more than 300 residents—demonstrate how the park supports a thriving, health‑focused community and aligns closely with our 15‑minute neighbourhood approach.
