A new 11,000 sq. ft. GP Super Surgery delivers accessible, healthcare for 25,000 Brent residents through strong public‑private collaboration
The GP Super Surgery at Wembley Park is a landmark achievement within Quintain’s commitment to creating inclusive, healthy, and socially resilient communities. Opened in March 2024 in partnership with Brent Council and Wembley Park Medical Centre, the 11,000 sq. ft. facility responds directly to Brent’s longstanding challenges in primary care access. Today, the surgery provides same‑day appointments and a comprehensive range of services to more than 25,000 residents.
The new surgery embodies Quintain’s masterplan philosophy: placing essential services within walking distance for residents. By integrating healthcare into the heart of a densely populated neighbourhood, Quintain ensures regeneration delivers measurable social value and long‑term community benefit.
Operated by Wembley Park Medical Centre, the facility accommodates 16 GPs and includes two clinical suites, 14 consultation rooms, four treatment rooms, and a dedicated e‑consult room supporting digital care. This design caters to diverse patient needs and modernises primary healthcare delivery.
Brent residents have historically faced delays in securing appointments. The Super Surgery’s same‑day access and extended hours ease this pressure, particularly for working families and vulnerable groups. Its location within Repton Gardens strengthens community integration and reduces barriers to care.
The initiative advances Brent’s social value priorities by improving health equity, creating local employment, and enhancing digital healthcare options. Strong collaboration between Quintain, Brent Council, clinical partners, and residents was essential to the project’s success.
