• The 8,200 sq ft, two-storey venue will be open from breakfast to dinner
• Adds to the imaginative spectrum of independents and major brands at Wembley Park

Leading London-based premium pubs and hotels business, Fuller, Smith & Turner, has signed up to open a brand-new pub and restaurant in the heart of Wembley Park.

Exact details of the 8,200 sq ft venue on Wembley Park Boulevard will be kept under wraps until opening day, but the new pub will deliver a multi-functional, all day space for local residents and visitors to the area to enjoy. Next to the world-famous national stadium, Wembley Park’s transformation reflects its legendary past and strong cultural heritage where many of the world’s greatest musicians, entertainers and sportspeople have played.

The £3bn transformation of Wembley Park by Quintain will create a premier cultural neighbourhood for London. It is one of the largest and most all-embracing urban developments currently underway in Europe.

Matt Slade, Retail Director of Quintain, said: “Our vision for retail and leisure at Wembley Park is about attracting an imaginative spectrum of independents and major brands. The new Fuller’s pub will be a great addition to add to our food & beverage mix that already features London’s largest Boxpark, a newly opened food hub at Wembley Park Market plus some 30 restaurants and bars at London Designer Outlet, the capital’s leading fashion and lifestyle outlet centre.”

The two-storey pub, which is due to open in Spring 2020, will combine elegant and eye-catching design, an enticing spectrum of premium beers, wines and spirits and a menu of seasonal dishes cooked fresh by a skilled Fuller’s Kitchen team. Food will be served throughout the day, from breakfast through brunch and lunch to dinner. The pub will feature an outdoor garden on the ground floor with a substantial outside terrace above with views across Wembley Park. The upper floor will be designed with great flexibility to provide a large open space on event days, or a selection of smaller areas on non-event days such as workspaces and private dining rooms. These facilities will appeal to nearby residents and local office workers seeking a welcoming place to work and socialise.

Peter Turner, Property Director of Fuller, Smith & Turner, said: “We are looking forward to serving customers in such an iconic location. We are currently underrepresented in this part of London and the location will give us a presence in the heart of this great new development. We will be opening a pub that will embody fantastic hospitality and the exceptional standard of customer service which guests expect from the Fuller’s team. Whether they want breakfast before work, brunch with friends, a quick pint on the way home or a tasty early dinner before heading to a concert, we will be ready and waiting to serve.”

Projected to attract over 20 million visitors a year, Wembley Park will benefit from £328m annual retail spend by 2020, putting it ahead of London districts such as Camden, Victoria and Ealing Broadway. It will be home to 20,000 full-time residents across all ages from families with children, students, single occupancy and flatshares, and more by 2027. Additionally, the area is projected to have a working population of some 8,000 including Brent Civic Centre and corporate offices.

Wembley Park benefits from wide boulevards and attractive public spaces, with plans in-hand for new parks, private gardens and public realm that bring the total amount of open spaces to around 42 acres.

David Fraser, partner at Harrison:Fraser which produced an international benchmark report for Quintain, said: “Wembley Park is the only place in the world that can deliver global sport, entertainment and events, alongside such a breadth of retail, restaurants, leisure and places to work and live. When considering international destinations, which have successfully combined some, but never all, of these elements, it is clear that Wembley Park is a world first.”

Tipi, Quintain’s wholly-owned residential brand, provides design-led, lifestyle-focused apartments and an all-inclusive offer to those seeking an easier way to live in the capital. Minutes from central London, Wembley Park is easily reached by three Tube lines, two train lines, eight bus routes plus ample car parking at low cost. Agents are Nash Bond and Cushman & Wakefield.
