Quintain has appointed Matthew Slade to the new role of Managing Director of Wembley Park. Matthew joins Quintain from Westfield Corporation, one of the world’s leading shopping centre companies, where he opened Westfield Stratford City and was General Manager during the London Olympics. His focus at Quintain will be to complete the transformation of Wembley Park into a world class retail and leisure destination, underpinning the substantial new residential neighbourhood that is beginning to take shape.
Matthew joined Westfield in 2006 and was integral to the development of Stratford City into the largest urban retail and leisure destination in Europe. Prior to joining Westfield he was European Marketing and Loyalty Manager at Chevron.
Over the last decade Quintain has developed a unique leisure destination at Wembley Park that complements the world-class sporting facilities for which the location is renowned. The Company is now focused on establishing high retail standards and achieving operational excellence across the Wembley Park estate, which includes London’s only designer outlet centre.
