Fresh Arts

A hub of community and culture

How Wembley Park’s Fresh Arts community centre cultivates creativity, supports young people and enriches local identity within a thriving urban neighbourhood
Fresh Arts stands as one of Wembley Park’s most important community anchors; a vibrant, modern equivalent of a traditional village hall that brings people together through creativity, culture and shared experience. Supported by Quintain, the centre plays a central role in nurturing inclusion, expression and belonging across a diverse and growing neighbourhood.

In 2023, Fresh Arts delivered 335 events, welcoming more than 20,000 community members, a scale that reflects both the centre’s popularity and Quintain’s strong commitment to social value. This impact is further strengthened by the dedication of two full‑time Quintain team members and over 535 hours of volunteer time, demonstrating the deep partnership between the organisation and the community it serves.

Programming at Fresh Arts is designed with purpose and driven by local need. 29% of all events supported mental wellbeing, offering workshops, support circles and wellness activities that provide safe, supportive spaces for residents. Meanwhile, 20% of events focused on arts and culture, enabling creative expression and fostering intercultural dialogue through performances, exhibitions and hands‑on activities.

A standout highlight was a series of six multicultural supper clubs, which brought together 180 attendees to share food, stories and traditions. These intimate gatherings captured the heart of Wembley Park’s diversity, helping neighbours connect across cultures and strengthening community bonds in meaningful, lasting ways.

Fresh Arts continues to evolve with its community, ensuring its programming remains relevant, inclusive and impactful. Through consistent investment in people and place, Quintain reinforces its vision for socially responsible development—one where cultural vibrancy, wellbeing and belonging are at the centre of neighbourhood life.
