Award winning retail revolutionary Boxpark and Quintain have announced a joint venture to open Boxpark Wembley. The brand new dining and event destination will be located in the heart of the 85-acre site which is currently undergoing landmark regeneration by Quintain and is set to become the UK’s largest build to rent development.
Known as Boxpark Wembley, it will be the first Boxpark for the north west of the capital and the third for London. Boxpark Wembley will fuse together modern street food with cool bars to create a unique dining and cultural destination just minutes from central London.
The venue in Wembley Park will include up to 29 independent and up and coming food and beverage traders. Set out in a bespoke layout covering 4,000 sq m on Olympic Way (known to fans the world over as Wembley Way) it will create a new entertainment space for those living in, working at and visiting Wembley Park.
Alongside the array of delectable food and drink on offer, the space will provide a year round events destination, creating and hosting a programme of innovative events for up to 2,000 people at a time. Boxpark will draw a crowd from across London, who embrace Boxpark's formula of street food in an informal setting combined with top entertainment. Working together with emerging local artists and established talent from across the country, Boxpark Wembley will deliver unforgettable experiences and further cement Wembley Park's reputation as a destination alive with activity.
Boxpark will also provide an innovative fan village experience for visitors to the National Stadium and The SSE Arena, Wembley and provide a local venue for the 4,000 students and 2,000 people who already live at Wembley Park. The 10 year joint venture will provide year round animation to the area undergoing rapid transformation with 3,000 homes under construction by the end of this year.
The venue is expected to have particular appeal to those who are increasingly calling Wembley Park home. At completion Wembley Park will have 5,000 rental homes available, managed by Quintain’s lifestyle focused rental management business Tipi, which offers an all-inclusive rental offer with shared lounges and social spaces.
Speaking about the deal, Angus Dodd, Chief Executive of Quintain, (delivering Wembley Park), said:
“We’re very pleased to announce that Wembley Park is soon to be home to Boxpark Wembley. Wembley Park is an exciting place to rent and live in London, now coming alive with experiences and opportunities. Boxpark Wembley will open up Wembley to a whole new audience as well as create a new destination for stadium and arena event days. We look forward to working with the Boxpark team and opening in late 2018.”
Adding to this, Roger Wade, Founder and CEO of Boxpark, said:
"I'm delighted to announce the opening of the third Boxpark site, Boxpark Wembley. Boxpark Wembley is located in an iconic location, on Olympic Way in Wembley Park. We hope to work closely with Quintain, Brent Council and other venue operators on the site to develop a world class food, drink and entertainment destination, and possibly the best fan park in the world!"
Boxpark Wembley is set to open in late 2018, and will in the coming months begin the process of letting the units to an array of talented traders from across London.

About Wembley Park
Wembley Park is a destination, coming alive with activity and experiences.
For nearly 100 years Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena, Wembley have been recognised as world renowned venues attracting over four million people every year to experience some of the greatest sport and music acts. Wembley Park is embracing this reputation and building on this activity - opening up the area to new audiences.
The 85-acre site currently comprises The SSE Arena, Wembley, which owner and developer, Quintain refurbished and reopened in 2006; London Designer Outlet, which includes 70 high street outlet stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a 9‐screen Cineworld cinema; a 361 room 4 star Hilton Hotel and 1,000 new homes. Brent Civic Centre was built in 2012 and Wembley Stadium, owned by the FA Group, is a close neighbour.
Wembley Park has already seen £1 billion invested since 2002. Between now and 2020 it is expected that a further £2 billion will be invested as Quintain develops around 1 million square feet of office and workspace and a further 6,000 homes, across a broad range of tenures, which will make a significant contribution both to Brent and London’s housing need. During 2017 alone, 3,000 homes will be under construction. Wembley Park is set to become the largest single-site purpose built Build to Rent development anywhere in the UK, with 5,000 new homes available for rent when complete. These are all managed by Tipi, Quintain’s lifestyle-focussed rental management company, which offers a ‘red carpet’, all-inclusive rental lifestyle with shared lounges and social spaces and rents that include utility bills and super-fast broadband.
Wembley Park already benefits from wide boulevards and attractive public spaces – new parks and public realm will bring the total area of open spaces to around 42 acres.
Wembley Park also has excellent transport connections to central London via the Jubilee and Metropolitan tube lines from Wembley Park and overground from Wembley Stadium station. It is just nine minutes from Marylebone and 12 minutes from Baker Street and recently welcomed the Night Tube.
Wembley Park is being delivered by Quintain. Boxpark Wembley is subject to planning permission.
