Greenwich Peninsula

On a 190 acre site surrounding the O2, Quintain and its partner, Lend Lease Europe, are creating a new London community along 1.6 miles of Thames river frontage. As new residential neighbourhoods emerge and retail and commercial businesses bring life and animation to Peninsula Central, the rejuvenation of these former industrial lands continues.

New life and vibrancy has come to the space around The 02 Arena, following the opening of the retail units around Peninsula Square, and the arrival of offices workers at Pier Walk and Mitre Passage as well as the students at Ravensbourne College. The first homes are now complete and residents moved in over the summer of 2011. With its extensive riverside setting, many of the new homes being created will have views over Canary Wharf and down to the Thames Barrier. Others will overlook Central Park which lies at the centre of the scheme and provides all residents with instant access to a magnificent expanse of green space.
